Wakefield & Scott Loan Car Terms & Conditions
- This is a free service provided by Wakefield & Scott for the period that my vehicle is being repaired. I confirm I have inspected the vehicle and noted any existing damage if any.
- I confirm I am aware the vehicle is not insured.
- I confirm that during the time I use the vehicle, if the vehicle is involved in an accident I am liable for the cost of repairing the damage to the vehicle sustained in the accident whether or not I am at fault in any such accident.
- I agree that all costs involved in the usage of the vehicle are due and payable immediately upon return of the vehicle to Wakefield & Scott. I acknowledge that any costs are to be paid by me prior to my uplifting my own vehicle.
- The vehicle shall be immediately returned to Wakefield & Scott upon notification to me that my own vehicle has been repaired.
- I acknowledge that I will be liable for all traffic fines, parking fines and speed camera fines incurred during the usage period. I further agree to abide by all traffic rules and regulations.
- I agree that I will be responsible for all punctures, petrol & oils used during this period. I agree that I will not use the vehicle if it appears that any further use will cause the vehicle serious damage, for example, if the fan belt breaks or the oil warning light comes on. If the vehicle needs to be recovered due to neglect — a recovery fee of $75.00 + GST will be charged.
- I acknowledge that Wakefield & Scott makes no warranty, whether expressed or implied, as to the suitability of the vehicle for the purposes for which I will use it.
- I confirm that myself and my partner will be the only drivers during this period and that we will not allow any other person to use the vehicle.
- The vehicle should not leave the greater Wellington area without notifying Wakefield & Scott.
- All Vehicles are non-smoking & no animals are permitted in our vehicles.
- If the vehicle is returned in a condition that requires cleaning a minimum charge of $40 (+gst) will apply.
